Updated Advisory Notice: New Filing Requirement from Commissioner Cynthia C. Dooley

The South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission is issuing this advisory notice to inform you of an important procedural update regarding Memoranda of Law submissions.

Effective immediately, when Commissioner Cynthia C. Dooley requests that a Memorandum of Law be submitted, the filing party must also include a signed statement disclosing whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) was used in the preparation of the document. This additional requirement ensures transparency and adherence to legal and ethical standards in all case proceedings.
